It’s November 1st, which means Art Every Day Month is upon us once more. I’ve been taking part almost every year since 2008, posting my daily creations here on my blog. Last year I did a small oil painting each day; this year I think I’ll mostly be sharing things from the online course I’ll be taking for most of the month, Drawn to Expression.
For today I did a little sketch inspired by the exhilaratingly gorgeous fall we are having here in Edinburgh. It has been distractingly beautiful outside this weekend, making staying in and getting work done practically impossible.
very nice
Thank you, Maron.
What a wonderful sketch! I’ll be interested to hear what you think of your online course
Thank you, Julie. I’ve never taken an online art course before, so I’m curious to see how it will go, too.
I love the juxtaposition of the black against the lovely color choices you made. I love how old world it feels. Beautiful job! I’m visiting from AEDM. I wish I had your seven years under my belt too, I’ve only been doing AEDM for three years so far. I sure look forward to it though!
Thank you, Jennifer. Here’s to another AEDM!
Always great to visit with “old friends” during Art Every Day Month! This is really wonderful – it captures so much so simply! I can’t do watercolors and am always impressed by those who handle the medium as well as you.
Hello, Tammy! Glad to see you are still around for AEDM as well.
